A Long Way Home Ch.7&8

In the beginning of chapter 7 Ishmael and his Friends are in Kamator another village where the rebels have not been yet. But after some days passed they heard that the rebels where on the way to the town so everybody started to vet worry so some people went and packed things to take with them and took them to the forest where they where going to be hiding. After they saw that they where not coming people went back to the town and they heard that the rebels were coming but they didn't believe it this time. So one day while the town was doing the last prayer of the day the rebels came in but they didn't act like rebels but like normal people. The one that new they were in town was a friend of Ishmael and he went to tell people that the rebels where in the town in the place they were praying but the imam(priest) didn't wanted to get bother so everybody left and left him there. While people were running for their life's Ishmael and his friends split apart because they didn't have time to go to the bush that they were all suppose to meet for when the rebels came to the town. After everybody left they asked the Imam that where were the people hiding but he wouldn't tell them so they tied his hands and feet and tied him to a pole and burned him. As days passed Ishmael kept waiting in the bush that he was suppose to meet his friends and brothers but only one friend got their and he didn't know where the ones could of been at. After a couplee of more days Ishmael decided to leave and his friend didn't wanted to go with him because he was scared of getting caught by the rebels and getting killed. So Ishmael did leave and has walked for six days and has been sleeping in abandoned villages.

A Long Way Home Ch.4,5

Ishmael and his friends are walking in the forest and all of them are quiet because of what they just experinced with the rebels chacing them. While walking in the quiet Ishmael is thinking about where can his family be, if hes ever going to see them again and he wished that they were safeand not too heartbroken. And all the boys are hungry but they dont stop at any village that is abondend because they think that ebels ae going to be their and capture them. They would sleep in abonded villages where no one was where thy had tp sleep on the floor because their was no place for them to sleep since most of the villages were burned down. And every morning when thery got up and continued walking they hope to find something to eat. While they kept wal;king they found a village that had oranges, bananas and coconuts. Buth the bananas were raw so they boiled them to eat them. After being away for some days they we nt back to Mattru Jong and the town looked looked unfamiliar. Their they saw ones again dead body of peopl. While looking around they saw an old man that was sitting in his verandha that had a bullet hole in his forhead . They also got to see bodies of two men whose genitals, limbs and hands had been chooped off. After seeing that they jst went home to look for some money that Ishamel had left and they did get to find it.

A long Way Home Ch.2,3

In chapter 2 Ishmael and his friends go back to their town and saw that people were on the floor dead. Ishmael feels like throwing up and that moment because he sees peoples guts coming out of their bodies. He also sees the river really red and dead mosquito's in it. And since the town needed help to dig all the bodies, Ishmael had to help around and he got to see more dead people then what a Young kid has to see.
In chapter 3 Ishmael is more worried about his father because he still doesn't know anything about him. And the rebels are in some town near where Ishmael is at and they are sending letters saying that they are going on their way to the town. But after a couple of days the rebels didn't show up but the people were still scared. Till one day that they send a priest saying that everybody had to leave or else the rebels were going to kill them all. But then again days passed and still the rebels didn't show up. Till one day that Ishmael was cooking he heard a gun shut but he thought that it was the soldiers trying their guns out but then he started to hear more gun shuts and people yelling. So he and his friends ran to the river and swam across it to hid in the forest. Some of the rebels went after the people that were going to the forest and they did manage to capture some people. Some other rebels were after Ishmael and his friends but they didn't get caught because they were to fast for the rebels.

A Long Way Home Ch1

This book takes place in Africa when once a group of bad people went town to town killing people and burning their houses. They would also get the people that they capture and pick the ones that look stronger and braver so that they can become rebels also even when they don't want to become bad people. The ones that didn't get picked would get killed by the ones that did get picked. So this started about a boy telling his life before all this happen. But at the middle of chapter one he starts to say that the rebels have start attacking some town and that his his town was next to be attacked. Since they heard there town was next they had people watching the roads to make sure that they would see when the rebels were coming. so days passed and nothing happen so people stooped worrying and got back to their normal liefs.So one day Ishmael and his friends went to some were going to go to Mattru Jong because they were going to go to some kind of studio to learn how to sing rap and to learn how to dance. On their way back to thier town thay heard that their town had been attacked alrady. So Ishmael worried because his dad was still their and didnt know if he was a live or not.

Night Runner ch 8-11

After that Zack thought he was alone he finally met his uncle. Zack didn't believe the guy when he told him that he was his uncle. His uncle told him that he hadn't come to visit him because he was living in Europe and thought that he was dead. But when he heard that he was alive and in a mental ward he went back to do some explaining and to get him out their because he knows that vrolok is looking for him. And Maximilian also tells him how he became a vampire and that his dad didn't die in a accident. He told him that hes dad was killed by Vrolok.

Night Runner



The thing that got me more surprised about the book was that the main character was in a mental place and he got really bad when his dad died. When his dad died he went into a coma and when we woke up is when his whole life changed because he couldn't eat regular food and couldn't be near the light of the sun. He thought that he was lone and didn't have any family alive till one day his uncle Maximilian went to see him and told him things that he didn't know. He told him that his dad died because he was murdered and that he was a vampire hunter and that it was a vampire who killed him. He also told him why he was so different after his dad died. He told him that before the vampire died he sucked his blood to give him power and to to dig underground so he escaped. He told him that he was in coma because he was bitten by the vampire so he told him that he was acting different because he was now a vampire.
